Black ceiling fan can be a good way to reduce your energy costs by allowing you to run your air conditioner less. It is important to choose the correct ceiling fan size if you decide to install one in your home. Measure the width of the existing fixture with a tape measure. The ceiling of the ceiling fan must be at least as wide as measurement. Turn off the power of the existing fixture. Put your ladder under it. Remove the luminaries by removing the screws holding it there using a screwdriver. Disconnect the wires and let the wires from the ceiling unlock loosely.
Attach the mounting bracket to your black ceiling fan set to the ceiling electric box with the supplied screws and a screwdriver. Pull the wires from the box down through the center of the bracket. Mount the fan on the floor except the blades according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Move the black ceiling fan housing up the ladder, place it on the ladder so close to the ceiling that the pipes from the ceiling and the pipes from the fan housing can touch. Connect the wires by color, black to black and white to white. Connect the connections by holding the two wires next to each other, pointing in the same direction and turning a wire cover over them. Wrap the electrician’s tape around each of the connections.
